As you may already know, your girl is skincare obsessed. Something I love doing is cruising the Ulta app, looking at brands, every product they offer, and the ingredients list.
I just really want to take care of my skin. Always looking to hydrate and prevent/ reduce fine lines. I’m also very honest that I love a good injectable in my forehead. Dysport forever, baby.
Anyhow…
I’ve seen lately a new brand that is becoming ‘viral’, Anua. Now not everything that is viral is good, so of course, I deep dove. Naturally, I am going to share my finds with y’all and links below. Duh.
Anua is a Korean skincare brand- immediate win for me. Why? There are so many amazing ingredients in Korean skincare brands. Gentle but powerful. The Koreans are doing it right! Fun fact: Retinol was just recently introduced into Korean skincare. It was never used previously.
The main product from Anua that I see a lot of people raving over is their milky rice toner. Personally, I already have milky toners that I love and another rice based Korean product in my routine. However, as I cruised all their products one thing caught my eye. Their toner pads. They claim to exfoliate, hydrate, and reduce sebum.
Never heard of sebum? Goodness gracious, let’s talk! It’s new knowledge for me too.
I think majority of the world at some point has used a Biore nose strip. Remeber those? How amazing it was to see all the stuff it pulled out? Well… What you see on that strip is sebum. Not black or white heads. Sebum is natural, and builds within your pores. Oil, dirt, etc. Sebum build up and causes your pores to look bigger. It’s good to get rid of it, but those strips and anything similar are not good for your skin. They pull, stretch, and damage your skin.
Let’s get to the point, shall we? I bought the toner pads by Anua, as a girl does. I have used them for 1 week. I see VERY noticeable improvements in my pores. No discoloration, and visibly they appear smaller and not like there’s anything in my pores.
The added bonus?! They’re $22! Basically a drugstore price point.
Genuinely, I can’t recommend this enough. I am so incredibly impressed. So…
Please allow me to introduce you…
